- The fuel type for gas appliances (natural gas or propane), and what connections are already in place: outlet, gas shutoff, water supply, drain, and vent.
- Cabinet cutout sizes and clearances for built-in and slide-in models.
- Access details such as stairs, elevators, gates, and any building or association rules.
- Whether you need an old appliance hauled away. There is a fee based on weight and complexity.
Older homes can have older wiring, venting, and shut-off valves that affect an installation, so mention the age of the home when you request installation.

Gas work should always be done by a licensed professional. Appliance Doctor holds a Category V LP Gas Installer license (Florida License #LI14261), and every project is checked for scope, code rules, and schedule. Do I need to be home for the installation?
Not necessarily. We can enter unoccupied residences when we have an appropriate method of entry and payment arranged ahead of time. Tell us when you request installation.
Do you haul away my old appliance?
Yes. Haul-away of an old appliance has a fee based on its weight and complexity. Mention it when you request installation so we can plan for it.
Do you install gas appliances?
Yes. Our gas team handles gas hookups for ranges, cooktops, dryers, and more. We hold a Category V LP Gas Installer license (Florida License #LI14261).
How soon can you install?
