Gas Fire Pits, Grill Lines & Generator Hookups in Northwest Florida

Appliance Doctor's gas team runs gas lines for outdoor fire pits and fire tables, built-in and freestanding grills, and standby generators across Panama City and Northwest Florida.

Fire features

Fire pits and fire tables

A gas fire pit or fire table needs the right line size, a shutoff, and a connection to the burner that matches the fuel. Location matters too, since clearances, wind, and surrounding structures all affect where a fire feature can go. Some communities and associations also have rules, so mention any requirements when you contact us.

Grills

Grill lines and outdoor kitchens

We run gas to built-in grills, side burners, and outdoor kitchens, and we install quick-disconnect lines for freestanding grills. For a full outdoor kitchen, see outdoor kitchen & built-in grill gas installation.

Generators

Standby generator gas hookups

A standby generator can draw a large amount of gas when it runs, so the supply has to be sized for the load. We handle the gas side. A licensed electrician or the generator installer handles the generator, the electrical connection, and the transfer switch, and we coordinate with them. Generator projects can also involve permit, utility and installation requirements that depend on the site, so we confirm them before quoting. For storm planning, see our hurricane appliance preparation guide.

Planning

What helps us plan your project

  • The type of equipment (fire pit, grill, generator) and the model if you have chosen it.
  • Natural gas or propane, and where the meter or tank is located.
  • The location, including the distance from the gas source and any obstacles.
  • The equipment's gas input (BTU per hour) if you have it.
  • Any association, building, or permit requirements that apply.

Gas work should always be done by a licensed professional. Appliance Doctor holds a Category V LP Gas Installer license (Florida License #LI14261), and every project is checked for scope, code rules, and schedule.

It depends on what is available at your property and how much gas the equipment needs. Our natural gas vs. propane guide explains the differences.

“Ron and his team replaced and repaired a bunch of our gas lanterns throughout the community. I can't say enough what a great job he did and the follow through is on point.”
